On January 2, the NSPCA held its annual meeting to elect new Board members and discuss goals for the coming year.
President: Dan D'Orlando
Dan is originally from Connecticut and moved to Severna Park in 2013 with his wife, Sarah. They have two young boys and enjoy taking them to the pool in the summer. Dan works as a program manager at Northrop Grumman. His goals as the new Community President are to update our practices and procedures to preserve the community traditions while adjusting to the modern expectations of the residents.
Secretary: Devon Hall
Devon and her husband, Matt, have lived in the neighborhood since 2015 with their two young children. She works as a Forensic Scientist at the Maryland State Police. You can often find Devon running on the trail or outside with the kids riding bikes and enjoying the pool. Devon's goals as Secretary are to initiate new events for community members (who are not necessarily pool members) to get to know each other better and build our sense of community.
Treasurer: Christine Varney
Christine and her husband, John, have lived in North Severna Park since 2014. They have 2 young daughters and can often be seen walking the trail with their dog, Lucy. Christine works as a civil engineer at BWI Airport. Her goals as Treasurer are to explore new fundraising opportunities for the community and to improve digital communication between members.
The entire Board is eager to get to work to improve the operations of our community and pool, and continue to make North Severna Park a great place to call home. But we can't do it alone - we are looking for committee members to take on small roles to give back to our community. Please contact us today to talk about how you can help!
