We are a private members only outdoor pool located in Severna Park. We have been providing local families with summertime fun and making lasting memories for more than 50 years. We open on Memorial Day weekend and close on Labor Day weekend. We are open 7 days a week from 11am to 8pm. In 2012, the pool will open for the season on Saturday, May 26 and close on Monday, September 3.
Our pool area includes a large pool with diving board. Our enclosure also includes a separate baby pool. Certified lifeguards are on duty during operating hours. We have a bathhouse for men and women with showers, changing areas and restrooms. Our property includes a large grassy back lot with a jungle gym. Street parking is available along Marbury Road. Although we do not have a snack bar on site, members are welcome to bring food and drinks to enjoy.
We strive to keep fees reasonable, and revisit them each year in light of current conditions. We think you will find our rates very favorable when compared to other area pools. At this time, new members must pay a one-time $300 initiation fee. Membership dues are $450 per summer. A $50 work-fee is included with your membership cost. Each family is invited to work 8 hours prior to the beginning of the pool season to assist with readying the pool for opening day with such tasks as gardening, cleaning, and maintenance. The work fee will be refunded to upon completion of 8 hours of work. All requirements must be met before membership is granted. A $25 fee will be assessed on all returned checks.
